Dancing Monkey Laboratories is a performance collective lead by scientists Mike Czuba, Larry Lamont, Melissa Tuplin and Nathaniel Schmidt who are interested in researching, exploring, discovering and deconstructing what (T)heatre can be by creating new works that speak to diverse audiences.
WE MUST COLLIDE is Dancing Monkey Laboratories’ high energy, kinetic, interdisciplinary movement creation. With modern technology literally pulling us apart, we must physically collide into each other to be noticed, felt and seen.
Showy. Dazzling. Provocative. The 2014 Fluid Movement Arts Festival delivers a good time with a twist of genius and a slice of audacity. We invite you to join us for the best in contemporary dance and physical performance featuring movement artists from down the block and around the world.
The Fluid Festival presents outstanding physical performance to Calgary audiences, merging the best in contemporary dance and physical performance from local, national and international artists; and is the only festival of its kind between Toronto and Vancouver.
