Calgary jazz drummer Jon McCaslin presents an intimate, noon hour concert of jazz music featuring his piano trio.

Joined by award-winning pianist Chris Andrew and Rubim De Toledo on bass, the trio will perform a program of their favourite jazz standards plus some original compositions from the current Decidedly Jazz Danceworks production, “Ziriguidum”.

McCaslin is a Doctoral Candidate through the University of Toronto and is completing his dissertation on the conceptualization of contemporary melodic jazz drumming. He is currently based in Calgary, Alberta where he maintains a busy performing and teaching schedule across Canada.
