Peter Jancewicz is a composer, pianist, and teacher. He holds a Master of Music in piano from McGill University and a Doctor of Music from the University of Alberta. He has taught at Medicine Hat College, Alberta College, the University of Alberta and has been a member of the piano faculty at The Conservatory at Mount Royal University in Calgary since 1994. Peter has piano pieces published by Alfred, as well as Alberta Keys, a Calgary company. His advanced compositions are available through his website, www.peterjancewicz.com. He continues to compose, and often performs his own works in concert. As a writer, his articles have appeared in Clavier Magazine and Clavier Companion, The Canadian Music Teacher, and The Calgary Herald, as well as numerous piano pedagogy periodicals across Canada. He has also held administrative positions at MRU including Piano Coordinator and Coordinator of Academy piano.
Susan Hlasny, pianist and teacher, holds an M.Mus from the University of Calgary and a B.Mus from McGill University. She has taught at Medicine Hat College, Alberta College and is presently on faculty at the Conservatory, Mount Royal University, where she has also served as piano coordinator.
