Soundboard Music Tour showcases
University of Calgary students in recitals around Calgary and Alberta.
 Our main objective is to promote classical music and create awareness of
the arts in the province by sharing music prepared over the past few months.
Simultaneously, students are given the opportunity to gain valuable and rare
touring experience by performing at several venues in a short period of time.

Classical music nourishes the soul—it has the power to heal, inspire emotion and entertain.  Those who learn to play it develop their minds in unique ways and hone different skills and tools that they can apply in all areas of their lives.  I continually encounter people who say they love listening or wished they had continued to take lessons as a youngster.  I think learning can happen at any age and any level, whether by taking lessons or by listening.  Music will always enrich our lives and it is important to foster this love in people. ~Soundboard Music Tour Director Lana Henchell
