The Talisman Energy Choir is a recreational choir formed in the Spring of 2002, under the direction of Theresa Wasden, and accompanied by local artist Ron Proctor at the piano. Currently celebrating their 10^th year of operation, the Choir takes on the role of company ambassador seriously, performing eight to ten times each season at various downtown and suburban venues. Of note, the Talisman Energy Choir has sung on the national stage at the Knox Carol Festival, is a founding member of the annual Mass Energy Choir event, and released “Wreath of Carols”, a full-length CD and fundraiser for the United Way of Calgary. This four-part choir continues to challenge itself with more complex pieces, mixing in contemporary favourites along with classical compositions, and having a lot of fun along the way.
