Tina Hartt is a singer, composer and musician native to Montreal. She has enjoyed a diverse singing career spanning all over Canada: rock bands and church choirs in Montreal, Big Bands and jazz ensembles in Toronto, and acting/singing/dancing in Nova Scotia and PEI. In 2014 she moved out West to Calgary, and decided to focus on jazz. Currently she is working on her second CD for release in 2022. This time around she is going back to her french roots, giving a fresh feel to vintage french chansons, adding more original material but still including some of her favorite jazz standards.
Since arriving in Calgary, Tina has performed at Jack Singer Hall, The Grand Theatre, Grey Eagle Casino, Ironwood Bar & Grill, Betty Lou’s Library, Asylum for Art, Alvin’s Jazz Club, Lolita’s, the Vin Room West, Gravity Espresso & Wine Bar and the Blackfoot Hotel. Tina has also been featured in the Virtual JazzYYC International Jazz Days Festival and in Edmonton as part of La Cité Francophone Patio Concert Series.
Tina is excited to be included in the ProArts@noon Concert Series on Wednesday February 16th. This concert will feature original material, jazz standards and a selection of french chansons from Brel, Piaf, Rodrigues, Aznavour and Pink Martini. Tina will be joined by Konrad Pluta on piano.
