Allan Merovitz and the KlezMerovitz trio.

KlezMerovitz is the Calgary-based project of award-winning singer, actor and storyteller Allan Merovitz.

The group, comprised of Allan Merovitz plus Frank Rackow (saxophones and clarinets), Greg Rumpel (accordian, guitar) and Ben Rackow (bass) plays the colourful and lively traditional melodies of Eastern European Jewish wedding music as well as some original compositions – and also throws jazz, pop and world music influences into the mix.
