Blend Vocal Association is a Calgary women’s vocal ensemble established in 2011. Performing four-part arrangements of everything from folk to jazz to rock to contemporary, our close-knit group shares our love of singing by performing an entertaining selection of music from a variety of genres. Since our inception, we strive to engage all our audience members, from the musically sophisticated to first-timers. 

About “Songs For A Winter’s Night”: A lamp burning low; snow falling softly; the sound of distant sleigh bells ringing across a frozen harbour. All we need to make this winter night complete? A little music, of course! On November 20, cosy up for a taste of Blend’s winter concert. Comprising both sacred and secular explorations of winter, including three stunning original pieces by Blend member Miranda Martini and musical director / accompanist John Vooys, “Songs For A Winter’s Night” is sure to be the perfect beginning to your holiday season.
