A solitary musician becomes a haunting orchestra of one, performing “soulless soul”, a hybrid of warm vocals and the cold tones of a timeworn digital synthesizer.

Hello Moth’s music is known as “Soulless Soul,” a hybrid of warm passionate vocals and the cold tones from a Casio VL-1 digital synthesizer.  In each riveting performance, musical layers are laid upon each other in loops to form elaborate patterns.  The songs which result are powerful and unexpected, and before your eyes the solitary musician becomes a haunting orchestra of one.

This concert is presented in co operation with the 2013 High Performance Rodeo – Calgary’s International Festival of the Arts!
