Lily String Quartet is a dynamic chamber ensemble dedicated to excellence.

This Special Appearance Concert performance scheduled for Sunday August 26 at 3:00pm in the Cathedral Church is a single concert date in Calgary prior to an Eastern Canada Tour!

Concert repertoire includes works by : Debussy, Elgar, Raum, Bachman and MacMillan. This Canadian quartet was formed in 2005, and is recognized by audiences and critics alike as a top ensemble of Western Canada.

The 2011/12 season includes a recital performance for The Instrumental Society of Calgary, The Calgary Pro Musica Society, The ProArts Society and a tour of Eastern Canada.

This bilingual quartet is comprised of Rachel Kristenson(violin), Diane Lane(violin), Patricia Higgins(viola) and Andrea Case(cello); all of whom hold a position in the top tier of Canadian chamber musicians.

Past concert work has included performances for the CBC, Sled Island Festival, The Lake Louise “Ice Magic” Festival, The Banff Centre, One Yellow Rabbit Theatre’s High Performance Rodeo and New Works Calgary.
