Phoebe Powell is an accomplished harpist with multiple Royal Conservatory and Calgary Kiwanis Music Festival awards to her name. She was one of only two Canadian harpists selected to perform in Master Classes at the prestigious World Harp Congress in Vancouver in July 2011 and also joined the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra for their Ukranian Rhapsody programme in October that same year.

A winner of Royal Conservatory Silver Medals for harp and voice, Phoebe was invited by the Royal Conservatory to audition for their From the Top at Carnegie Hall programme in January 2012, and was one of only eight senior competitors chosen to perform at the prestigious Calgary Kiwanis Stars of the Festival Finale Concert that March.

Phoebe is currently preparing for her Royal Conservatory A.R.C.T. Diploma in Harp Performance at Mount Royal Conservatory, and is a senior chamber ensemble student with the Amici String Programme.

As a winner of the 2012 Calgary C3 Concerto competition Phoebe performed with the Calgary Civic Orchestra in April 2012, making her concerto debut with the honour of being the first harpist ever to win the competition.
