The ProArts@Noon Concert Series is proud to present the Truss and Ross Fund Concert, featuring singer-songwriter Wendy Walker.
Artist Biography
Wendy Walker
Wendy Walker is an established Métis and Mi’kmaq First Nations singer-songwriter who has toured Canada and abroad.
Wendy has been nominated and received several awards within the Indigenous musical community, notably the Esquao (Woman) Award. Another highlight was playing at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang South Korea, performing for world leaders in attendance.
In addition to releasing thirty singles, and contributing to multiple collaborations, Wendy has two other albums under her belt with a third currently in development.
