Nov. 06 CHARTIER AND CHECORA
Bob and Cathy’s songs appeal to all ages, covering various subjects (such as pianos and cats, rivers and trains, diners and hunger, walking and wanting), and almost always accompanied by a good story! Bob's bass voice and Cathy's soprano combine in a distinctive mix. Today’s concert will feature their original songs along with a few of their favourite covers.
Oct. 30 Calgary Opera’s McPhee Artists
The first of their two programs for ProArts this season will include everything from engaging arias and ensembles by Verdi and Mozart to surprises from the world of music theatre.
Oct 23 “Italian Concert” featuring Concert Accordion, Soprano & Tenor
Soprano Lauren Woods, tenor Spencer Britten, and accordionist Penny Sanborn come together to present an Italian concert. The Italian music will include traditional pieces like O Sole Mio, arias like Puccini’s O Mio Babbino Caro and duets like Verdi’s Libiamo from La Traviata.

This noon-hour concert will include medieval, Renaissance, and baroque selections, with voices, organ, and baroque violin.
Sept 25 “There is Room” Piano & Violin Duo
Our program is called "Encounters" and it features a mix of hidden gems by lesser-known historical composers, as well as new music by living composers (some active in the Calgary area!)
Sept 18 Calgary Concert Opera Company
Calgary Concert Opera, Opera by Request and the Foothills Philharmonic Opera Chorus come together again to perform excerpts from their upcoming performances of Verdi’s "Nabucco".
Sept 11 Charlie Hase, pedal steel & lap slide guitar
Charlie Hase is a pedal steel and lap slide guitarist, and multi instrumentalist. For many years he has had the privilege to work with numerous notable singer/songwriters and bands, as well as creating original instrumental projects.
Sept. 04 Miranda Martini, singer song writer
An accomplished composer, music director and sound designer for the stage and screen, Miranda Martini is excited to return to her singer-songwriter roots for this intimate lunchtime concert.

In his signature blend of music and storytelling, Montreal-based pianist and composer Jesse Plessis brings a gentle and reflective recital to ProArts, featuring pieces by JS Bach, songs by Robin Pecknold of the American indie folk rock band Fleet Foxes, and original compositions, including pieces from his upcoming album and the world premiere of “Lazarus”.
Feb. 19 Denise Clarke -Salon Series Excerpts
Clarke will offer the Pro Arts crowd some of her signature story telling and movement set off with music and poetry.
