Local Arts supporters Gene and Elizabeth Maurice continue to generously support the ProArts@Noon Concert Series and recently awarded the ProArts Society funding to undertake a 2026 Choral Music Concert Series, which will feature a diverse selection from Calgary’s Choral community.This special series will be part of the ProArts@Noon weekly schedule of Wednesday concerts.

Now in its twenty-fourth season, the ProArts@Noon Concert Series of free, noon hour concerts is presented by the ProArts Society, who rent the historic Cathedral Church in the heart of Calgary’s Cultural District to present their weekly concerts.

Scarboro Foundation Distinctive Performers Concert Series 2026

When: Noon Hour Concerts on various Wednesdays – March 25 through to June 17, 2026
Tickets: Free of charge for the public

The ProArts@Noon Concert Series is pleased to announce a unique series of four concerts during
20256 featuring particularly distinctive performing artists.
The Scarboro Foundation recently awarded Calgary’s ProArts Society funding to undertake the Distinctive Artists Concert Series, which will feature a diverse selection of performing arts genres. This special series will be part of the ongoing ProArts@Noon weekly schedule of Wednesday concerts. Once again this year, the Scarboro Foundation has given ProArts Society Artistic Director Damon Johnston free rein to select the artists for this unique series, and he’s had fun making the choices. Johnston offers the following quote to illuminate his process of judgement:

Dr.’s Harry & Martha Cohen Memorial Fund Emerging Artist Concert Series 2026

When: Noon Hour Concerts on various Wednesdays – June 03 through to Nov. 18 2026
Tickets: Free of charge for the public

The ProArts@Noon Concert Series is pleased to announce a unique series of four concerts featuring
Emerging Performing Artists.

‘Emerging artists’ are often considered to be artists up to 5 – 10 years out of their artistic education, or up to
age 30. However, some artists continue to emerge past that point particularly if they do not often have the
chance to share their work publicly.

The Dr.’s Harry & Martha Cohen Memorial Fund recently awarded Calgary’s ProArts Society funding to
undertake this Emerging Artist Concert Series, which will feature a diverse selection of performing arts
genres.

This special series will be part of the ProArts@Noon weekly schedule of Wednesday concerts
The Dr.’s Harry & Martha Cohen Memorial Fund is administered by the Jewish Community Foundation of
Calgary.
