John Reid has been playing saxophone professionally for forty years and was playing Brazilian music before pianist Denis Nassar was born.
BUT Denis Nassar was born in Brazil, and raised up on and steeped in all forms and rhythms of the music: Samba, Choro, and Bossa Nova. Also expect the complex works of legendary jazz composer Hermeto Pascoal, and some of Denis’s own original compositions.
