The sound of a men’s choir is truly wonderful and the German Canadian Male Chorus takes their love of singing into the community of Calgary as often as possible. For our November 22 concert the choir brings some beautiful traditional German songs to this noon hour concert as well as original Spanish songs composed by the well-known German composer/arranger Otto Groll.
KANTOREI mixed-voice adult choir strives to embrace a diverse and wide-ranging program of performance and collaboration under the vibrant leadership of Artistic Director John Morgan. Women on the Verge was formed in 2016 with the desire to tell the stories of women’s lives. The recital "Expectations and Desires" features music by Hugo Wolf, Henri Duparc, contemporary American Composers Richard Pearson Thomas, Logan Skelton, Robert Spillman, Roberta Aldridge, and up-and-coming Canadian composer Cecilia Livingston.
