Flint & Feather are a free-spirited husband and wife duo who are deeply passionate about connecting with people through folk/roots music, stories, and laughter. Based in Calgary, Alberta, group members Joal and Lauren Kamps blend storytelling with songwriting to create charming “Rocky Mountain Folk-Pop” songs largely inspired by Canadian history, rocky mountain folklore, and their own personal journeys.
Having performed for audiences nationally and internationally, Flint & Feather’s honest and engaging approach to performance allows them to connect with listeners of all ages and backgrounds; their original music is filled with Joal’s vivid Alberta-inspired lyrical imagery and accented by Lauren’s subtle, delicate harmonies and accompaniment.
