An accomplished composer, music director and sound designer for the stage and screen, Miranda Martini is excited to return to her singer-songwriter roots for this intimate lunchtime concert. She’ll be revisiting some of her favourite compositions from the past decade, as well as some of her newer songs not yet committed to tape. With her clever lyrics, knack for storytelling, and a voice that’s equal parts folk revival and neo-soul, Martini will fill the Cathedral Church with cosy autumnal sunshine.

Miranda Martini is a musician, writer and composer. She co-wrote music for “John Ware Reimagined,” a musical about the life and impact of Alberta cowboy John Ware, and her face and voice can be seen and heard in the documentary John Ware Reclaimed. She is also a music director and dramaturg for theatre, and is currently working on a sci-fi musical.
