Chris Maric presents:
Very Odds and Ends “A special curation of original pieces and experimental reinterpretations”.
Chris Maric is a multi-instrumentalist known for his truly unique and innovative musical style. He has honed a technique which persistently flirts with genius, yet seemingly is always on the verge of recklessly stumbling into depths of unbridled passion.
As a performer, composer and educator, he has demonstrated his talents to a wide variety of audiences, crossing paths with practically any musical genre and style. He has also worked with a vast array of artists and organizations, continually surprising audiences with fresh performances.
For this performance, Maric is digging through the attic and basement of his mind to present a collection of original pieces and experimental reinterpretations of classic works, many of which have rarely – or never – been performed publicly before. He will curate an intimate and intriguing blend of piano, classical guitar and vocals, that will culminate in a unique presentation for this event.
Here is an excerpt from his previous show with The ProArts@Noon Concert Series, performing his original classical piece: To the Amusement of Shadows (I, II & III)
