Bruce Petherick is a musician, composer and musicologist. He has performed around the world playing a variety of music, ranging from Jazz to Classical to Country and Western.

His compositions have won awards in Chile, the United States as well as his native Australia. Bruce studied at the Undergraduate level at the University of Queensland (Composition), Queensland Conservatorium of Music (Music Technology) and the Victorian College of the Arts (Music Improvisation), and proceeded to Postgraduate work at LaTrobe University (Computer Music) and the University of Melbourne (Musicology).

Bruce’s first recording released under his own name, “5 Words of Love”, was released in February 2015. He will be performing music from this recording at the concert. Listen to a sample now
