Specializing in jazz piano and widely recognized as one of Canada’s premier jazz talents, he has been working behind the scenes on many recordings, theatre projects, song writing projects, jazz concerts, sound design, and film soundtracks.

John Reid and Denis Nassar Brazilian Music Project combines a blend of Brazilian folkloric music, classical music forms and jazz improvisation ranging from bossa nova to samba.

This concert presents music of Robert de Visée, a lutenist in the court of Louis XIV, played by Tim Janz on one-keyed Baroque flute and Ralph Maier playing the theorbo, the long necked lute that was developed by the Florentine Camerata as a continuo instrument.
