Central Alberta Chamber Players

The Central Alberta Chamber Players was formed in Red Deer, Alberta in 2016 by Dr. James Bicigo, Dr. Karen Gustafson, and Louise McMurray to perform chamber music in its many varied and wonderful forms as a professional ensemble based in Central Alberta. At its core a brass trio (trumpet, horn and trombone), the ensemble collaborates with many other musicians to bring to life a variety of concert experiences.

Central Alberta Chamber Players Go On Summer Vacation

The Central Alberta Chamber players will take you with them on a world tour that will take us to Alaska, New York City, Estonia, Malaysia, and Italy. Music for Trumpet, trombone, organ, and piano will be our mode of transportation as we get away from it all together!
Composers featured include: James Bicigo (Fairbanks, Alaska), Eric Ewazen (New York, New York), Odelia Kamal (Shah Alam Malaysia), Claudio Monteverdi (Venice, Italy), and Henri Otsa (Tallin, Estonia)

Joining Dr. Karen Gustafson (trumpet), Dr. James Bicigo (trombone) and Louise McMurray (horn) for this special noon hour concert will be the Music Director of the Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra Carlos Foggin (organ & piano).
