Vocal Latitudes is Calgary’s non-auditioned world music choir, based out of the Calgary Unitarians. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings at 7:15, and all are welcome to come try us out on January 14th and January 21st, the first two rehearsals of the winter-spring session. Vocal Latitudes is directed by Krishan Power, with pianist Faye White. For more details and to register, visit vocalatitudes.org.
Join Vocal Latitudes in concert as we present excerpts from our Fall 2024 program: Dreams and Discoveries. Themes of intangibility, desires, visions, progression, consciousness, spirit, and manifestation are explored in a wide range of choral repertoire from across the world. From the writings of Edgar Allen Poe to the grooves of California Dreamin’, there will be something for everyone to enjoy!
Vocal Latitudes’ main concert, featuring the full program, is on Sunday, Dec. 8 at Parkdale United Church (tickets $20 general, $15 senior/student).
