Justin Luchinski began an active career in early music performance in Montréal while completing his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees at the Schulich School of Music, McGill University. Before moving back to his hometown in 2020, for over half a decade Justin was a regular rehearsal keyboardist with Opera McGill’s baroque opera productions, and had regular season concerts, performances at the Montréal Baroque Festival, recording projects, and nation-wide touring with Les Méandres, the ensemble of which he is a co-founder. Since returning to Calgary, Justin has worked with Early Music Voices, String Theory Music Collective, performed at the National Music Centre, collaborated with various musicians from the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and stepped into the role of Co-Artistic Director of the Chamber Muse Historical Music Society of Calgary.
Sarah Bleile Douglass is a versatile baroque violinist who has charmed audiences in North America and Europe in both her fields of baroque music and traditional fiddling. In November 2021, she and her duo partner Shelby Yamin released their debut album as the premiere recording of the violin duets by Maddalena Sirmen Lombardini. Respected for her dedication, fiery energy and attention to detail, Sarah serves as Co-Artistic Director of Chamber Muse, and performs with Rosa Barocca in Calgary and Arion Baroque Orchestra in Montreal. She is also a founding member of the Berwick Fiddle Consort. In May 2020, she received her Master’s degree in baroque violin from McGill University, studying with Olivier Brault. During this program, she had the opportunity to study abroad at the Royal Conservatory The Hague, with Kati Debretzeni and Walter Reiter. She also earned a professional diploma in baroque violin and a Bachelor’s degree in violin performance from the San Francisco Conservatory, studying with Elizabeth Blumenstock and Ian Swensen.
