One Voice Chorus
One Voice Chorus (OVC) is a mixed choir for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit, and queer singers, and their cisgender allies. We are an auditioned choir with a wide-ranging repertoire: from classical to jazz, from madrigals to show tunes, and more!
McPhee Artist Development Program
Calgary Opera’s McPhee Artist Development Program is one of only four training programs for young professional opera singers in Canada. Its name honours the late W.R. (Bob) McPhee, past General Director and CEO of Calgary Opera.
Notre Dame High School Vocal Ensemble
The members of Notre Dame High School Vocal Ensemble share a love for music and song. When they attend rehearsals, concerts, or performances, they do so for their passion of singing. This is what unites them and ultimately creates a passion for life within. They hope you enjoy their performance.
Nikolai Nesterov, piano
An alumnus of the Academy of Music for the Gifted Youth at the Mount Royal Conservatory, Nikolai has been an annual prize and scholarship winner at the Calgary Performing Arts Festival as well as the Canadian Music Competition since 2012.

Emily Phernambucq, flute with Augustine Yates, piano
Winner of the 2018 Glenn Gould School Concerto Competition, flutist Emily Phernambucq is a talented soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player.
Beth Root Sandvoss, cello & Susanne Ruberg-Gordon, piano – plus special guest!
Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Cathedral as this renowned cellist and pianist perform contemporary and classical works. As a special treat, One Yellow Rabbit Theatre ensemble member Denise Clarke will join Beth and Susanne to present a movement work to the music of Arco Pärt’s Spiegel im Spiegel to complete this concert.
Duo Solista
Olga Kotova (violin) and Dmitry Nesterov (piano) have played together since they were 17 and named themselves Duo Solista to reflect their dedication to being both solo artists and life partners.

This concert presents music of Robert de Visée, a lutenist in the court of Louis XIV, played by Tim Janz on one-keyed Baroque flute and Ralph Maier playing the theorbo, the long necked lute that was developed by the Florentine Camerata as a continuo instrument.
