Calgary Renaissance Singers and Players
The Calgary Renaissance Singers & Players (CRSP) are a mixed voice, auditioned ensemble with associated instrumentalists, dancers, and theatrical players. Our purpose is to inspire, entertain, and educate our audiences and members through the music, culture, and history of the Renaissance.

The Calgary Performing Arts Festival has become one of the greatest performing arts events in Calgary, and one of the largest amateur competitive festivals in North America.

Nov. 19 MRUniversity Conservatory Academy and Advanced Performance Program Student’s recital
Featuring students from Mount Royal University Conservatory’s Academy and Advanced Performance Program.
This concert presents music of Robert de Visée, a lutenist in the court of Louis XIV, played by Tim Janz on one-keyed Baroque flute and Ralph Maier playing the theorbo, the long necked lute that was developed by the Florentine Camerata as a continuo instrument.
