After touring through countries such as Ecuador, Germany and the Czech Republic, dancer Fiona Malena is back in Calgary with this intimate and dynamic concert of traditional flamenco. Accompanying her is flamenco guitarist Michael Boyle. Together the two have collaborated artistically for over 10 years, enjoying the close dynamic of improvisation and musical inspiration on the stage. This special concert journeys through many forms; Sevillanas, Alegrías and more, while featuring the festivity and joy inherent in Flamenco.
