Guitarist Holly Blazina was captivated by flamenco’s soulful melodies and driving rhythms from the first time she heard it. After completing a Bachelor of Music degree in classical guitar performance in 1994, Holly began cultivating her love of flamenco under the mentorship of Calgary guitarist Peter Knight. Since then, providence took her to Seville, Spain to study intensively with performer and recording artist Michele Iaccarino.

Holly performs as a soloist, with percussionists, singers and dancers.  She also enjoys teaching private guitar lessons and workshops, teaching yoga classes and seminars for artists and composing original works in the flamenco style.
