HereComesTreble will share a variety of covers in tight four or five part treble harmony. Some will be a cappella, some with the accompaniment of piano or percussion beatboxing. The songs range from 1940’s Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy to current day with a nod to most of the decades in between.
HereComesTreble is a group of friends who share a passion for music. Throughout the years, they have sung in different groups and performed on various stages. They explore different music genres (from classical to modern jazz) and they love challenging and unique song arrangements. A band teacher, a retired customer service specialist, a Spanish teacher, a retired geophysicist, a retired nurse and piano teacher, come together to share with you their love of music and present songs from different eras, with a special touch.
HereComesTreble has perform multiple times at the Calgary Carol Festival for audiencesof more than 800, plus the streaming viewers. They have enjoyed performing yearly at the Knox CarolFest. HCT has been a featured artist at the Varsity Stage, opener for Rocky Mountain Folk Club, guests of the Wednesday Night Big Band at the Ironwood and has entertained the summer crowd at the Millarville Farmers’ Market. Most recently HCT had their own concert at Asylum For Art with a sold out audience. The group is delighted to once again be part of the ProArts Noon Concert series.
