Lauren Woods is a coloratura soprano from Calgary, Alberta.
Lauren attended UBC where she played Countess Blavinskeya in the world premiere of The Dream Healer, Nanetta in Verdi’s Falstaff and Despina in Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte in the Czech republic, Ontario and Vancouver.

This concert presents music of Robert de Visée, a lutenist in the court of Louis XIV, played by Tim Janz on one-keyed Baroque flute and Ralph Maier playing the theorbo, the long necked lute that was developed by the Florentine Camerata as a continuo instrument.
